SWIM LESSONS

Being at Pineywoods and having access to the pool, I thought it was important to continue our summer swim lessons. We did private lessons this summer because Greyson is such a class clown, I just thought it would be best! I took these series of pictures when it was time to learn how to dive...into the 10 ft. section...I thought they were HILARIOUS!

Greyson's swim instructor showing him how to dive (What Greyson was thinking: "I'm pretty sure he's joking about me jumping off this thing, right?!")

("What have I gotten myself into?")

("Um, I'm not so sure about this whole diving thing...")

("Awe, what the HECK...")
Every time he would place his hands in diving formation and then just jump off like a maniac! He enjoyed doing cannon balls, and such, but could never really get the whole "diving face first" concept down! So we moved on to bigger things...
All week he'd been eyeing the big slide, so his instructor talked him into going down at the end!

Still a little apprehensive about the whole thing...
WHEEEEEEEEEEE!

Building Blocks

We've had these blocks for a couple of years now, and they're so great because they're made out of foam! Greyson Cash loves to get them out randomly and play with them! He'll build something and run in to tell me "Mama- COME SEE- I builded Pineywoods!" or some random something like a bathroom! I don't know for sure, but I think we might have a little architect on our hands! :o)
And yes, he picked out his own pajamas here!

Catchin' up the Blog

I know I am entirely over-due for the BLOG update, but I am just now getting around to it! ;o) Greyson Cash's Bday was actually in April...HE's now 4!!! Can you believe it? We had a little guitar/rockstar themed birthday party, so he could invite his daycare friends. Notice there's only one girl in the background...he proudly calls her his "girlfriend"!

The FUN Never Stops...

...at the KEMAH BOARDWALK!
On the Ferris Wheel, Dad tried to convince Greyson that we were stuck at the top and a bird would have to bring us our lunch! Of course, he didn't fall for it, but it was amusing!
Sponge Bob 4-D Adventure

At one point, a saw blade looked as if it were coming straight at us...Greyson quickly took off his glasses because he "had to see if it was coming CLOSER!"

Riding on the Red Baron!

This is our attempt to take a picture of all 3 of us on the TRAIN!

He gets his personality from his DAD! :o)

We ate at Fuddruckers afterwards! It has to be a special occasion for him to drink D.P. We were celebrating his upcoming 4th birthday!

No explanation needed!

Busy, Busy

I haven't been taking very many pictures lately (stressed out from school-getting ready for the big TAKS test), but here are a few cute ones from Christmas Break. Addie and Liz came to see us and we welcomed them with a campfire. Thank goodness it WAS actually cold...unusual for us in East Texas!

Check out these videos made by my creative husband debuting Greyson Cash's musical abilities...you can tell he gets his rhythm from his DAD! :o)

A Valentine Blog

I'm finally moving up in the world...my very first BLOG entry.
I thought it only natural that
it be about my two favorite boys! Yesterday, when I pulled in the driveway from a LONG,EXHAUSTING day at school (just think 3rd grade Valentine Party, UGH)...I was happily greeted with Greyson Cash running up to give me the Valentine cookie that he and Dad bought for me! Aren't they so sweet?! Jerrod went in to town and bought my favorite pizza and a giant cookie as a Valentine Surprise! I love my two boys!
:o) Happy Valentine's Day!
